Three types, one building

The rooms: what each of the three types gives you

The hotel publishes three room types and a long list of what is inside each one. We put them side by side, then answer the questions the room sheets leave open.

What is in every room?

The lists overlap almost completely. Every type has quality bathroom amenities, bed linen, blackout drapes, climate-controlled air conditioning and heating, a Bluetooth alarm clock, a 55-inch TV, complimentary wireless internet, a mini fridge, a safety box and a phone. Every booking also comes with free self-parking and access to the fitness centre and the business centre. That is a sensible list for a building opened in 2021. It is also a list without a coffee maker, an iron or a bathrobe on it; they may well be there, but the hotel does not say so, and neither will we.

Which one should we pick?

Two queen bedsStandard Two QueenTwo to four people, the everyday choice

The obvious room for two friends, a couple who like space, or a family of four. It is the only type with a bathtub, which matters if you travel with small children. Full details.

1 kingKing AccessibleOne king bed, a roll-in shower

Same floor area as the standard room, one king bed and an accessible bathroom with a roll-in shower. Maximum two guests. Full details.

At 696 square feet it is more than double the other two. A kitchen, a living and dining area, a sofa bed and a powder room for guests. Full details.

How many rooms of each type are there?

The hotel does not publish a split. We know the total, 116 rooms, from the operator's own property list, which matches the figure reported when the hotel opened in 2021. An older encyclopedia entry says 100; that was the number in the 2018 plans, and it is not what was built.

Will we see the lake?

Probably not from the room, and the hotel does not claim you will. Every type is listed with a casino view or a garden view, nothing more. The lake is a few minutes away on foot or by car in almost any direction, and that is where we would go to look at it.

Are the rooms quiet?

We will not invent an answer. The building is new, the drapes are blackout drapes, and the hotel is a separate structure next to the casino rather than a tower above the gaming floor. Those are good signs, not a measurement. If quiet matters most, ask for the garden side in your request and we will pass it on.

Is smoking allowed anywhere?

No. The operator's house rules say the hotel and every guest room are 100 percent smoke-free, and that covers cannabis, e-cigarettes and vaping too. The penalty is not a polite note: a first violation brings a $1,000 cleaning fee, immediate eviction and a ban of up to three months.
